B&P are proud to announce the installation of a second nitrogen generator.

In October, we announced the installation of our first nitrogen generator. It proved so successful that a second has been installed.

Nitrogen is used by B&P’s high-powered lasers. Before installing the original nitrogen generator, all of B&P’s nitrogen was delivered by diesel truck. The original generator was installed to decrease our environmental impact and reduce operating costs by reducing the frequency of deliveries.

The positive impact of the generator was immediately apparent, and the decision to purchase and install a second generator was made in January 2017.

The second generator came online in early February, and we are already reaping the benefits, seeing a 60% reduction in nitrogen deliveries over a busy start to 2017.
